Telemedicine

Start here, the care I want you to receive!

Watch the video, as it shows you how my consultation will be.

Every step of my care has been designed so that your contact with me is more than a video call, and is a personalised consultation for your context.

When you schedule an appointment, I set aside dedicated time to understand and study your case. I gather and analyse in advance the information you share about your health: medical history, tests, reports, prescriptions, medications in use and other relevant documents.

I believe that a good telemedicine consultation begins before the video call.

When I receive your history and answers to the clinical form, I have the opportunity to familiarise myself with the information you chose to share about your health.

From this, I study the available data, identify the points that deserve greater attention and organise what needs to be explored further during our conversation.

Thus, when our consultation begins, I don't start from scratch.

I already know your story and arrive prepared to listen to you.

During the consultation

When the consultation starts, the most important thing is to listen to you and seek to understand what led you to seek the consultation and what needs to be investigated or addressed at that moment.

The initial consultation lasts up to 1 hour, with space for careful and detailed case history taking, genuine listening, and individualised clinical evaluation.

From this, we define the next steps in a shared manner, considering not only the medical findings, but also your context and needs, and I present you with the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities.

When clinically indicated, additional tests may be requested or referrals made for specialist evaluation.

I don't see only isolated symptoms. I see your story behind them.

What guides my care

Generalist medical approach

As a generalist physician, I seek to understand the person as a whole.

Considering background, medications, habits, symptoms, tests, life context and the different factors that may be related to your state of health. Making connections between the data presented, analysing them to better guide you.

Evidence-based medicine

The guidance and management are founded on available and up-to-date scientific knowledge, always considering the particularities of your case.

Scientific evidence and individualisation are not opposing concepts: the best management is one that, in addition to having scientific backing, is appropriate to the clinical reality of the person before me.

Shared decision-making

Medicine should not be a one-way conversation.

I explain what we are investigating, what the possibilities are and what paths can be considered.

Within what is clinically appropriate, decisions are built in a clear and shared manner, so that you understand not only what to do, but also why we are doing it.

Follow-up beyond the consultation

Care does not end when the video call ends.

The initial consultation includes a follow-up of up to 1 hour, within 45 business days.

This moment allows me to reassess your progress, discuss test results, clarify questions that may have arisen after the consultation and review the management when clinically necessary.
